Violetgrass, under the order of her master Azurefox, went into the Grand Xia world. Her master had ordered her to take care of Ji Ning, in order to get a better understanding of Ji Ning's power, Violetgrass colluded with the Youngflame Clan to deal with Ji Ning.
When the Youngflame Clan's failed the first time, she invited Celestial Immortal Blackheaven, who owed her some favors, to deal with Ji Ning. However, before Celestial Immortal Blackheaven could deal with Ji Ning, Ji Ning's second bout against the Youngflame Caln had begun.
