Hawkfang is a descendant of a Sithe Exalt that perished in the Dawn War.
Overview[]
As a Sithe descendant, Hawkfang is not a true Sithe and is not rejected by the Chaosverse. Hawkfang is thus able to cultivate the Dao, and is more similar to a cultivator than a Sithe. Among Sithe descendants, Hawkfang has extraordinary talent and he was predicted to have been able to emerge as an Autarch in the future.
When his avatar accompanied his father during the Dawn War, they met Autarch Bolin who furiously questioned why the Sithe descendants, who he saw as cultivators, were fighting alongside the Sithe. His father then destroyed his avatar body to prevent Autarch Bolin from destroying his true body through Karmic ties and revealed that Sithe descendants were indeed cultivators and would only be used as tools by True Sithe.
This event nurtured a strong hatred for the Sithe in Hawkfang, who kept his hatred under wraps for many years in order to plot his revenge, negatively affecting his Dao heart and thus eliminating any chance that he would achieve Autarchy.
History[]
Hawkfang first appears under the command of Exalt Bowenya in the hidden Sithe realm. He leads the Sithe descendants in a fight against Ji Ning but is defeated and captured. Ji Ning reads his memories and discovers his hatred for the Sithe as well as a technique he developed based off the Sithe techniques known as the Five Truncheon Chapters. After escaping the hidden realm, the Sithe descendants, including Hawkfang, are granted an Otherverse to live in.
